Ride to Conquer Cancer 2026 – Volunteer with CSP!

Folks, the time has come!

We’re excited to start recruiting for the 2026 Ride to Conquer Cancer (RTCC) Bike Response Unit (BRU) supporting the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre!

📅 Event Dates: June 13–14, 2026
📍 Route: Toronto (Sherway Gardens) → Niagara-on-the-Lake

This incredible event supports the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and brings together 3,000+ riders tackling over 200 km across two days. The BRU, which is comprised of many members of the Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) alongside other medical professionals/first responders working in accordance with Odyssey Medical play a key role in keeping participants safe and supported throughout The Ride!

Volunteer Expression of Interest

We are recruiting first responders for one or both days for:

• Bike Patrol
• Vehicle Support
• Aid Stations (on foot)

Please complete both the Expression of Interest (EOI) form and e-mail the CSP coordinator directly with what you have expressed interest for so we have our own record, e.g., “EOI for 2 day bike Toronto to Niagara”.

Credentials Note: On the EOI Form check both Emergency First Responder and also Other and add: Canadian Ski Patrol. Upload your current, valid credentials from Yeti afterwards. Further down, you will indicate you are CSP again and then Bike Response Unit. 

Fundraising Team

If your interested in raising money for the many important causes supported by The Ride, please also join our Volunteer Fundraising team by requesting to do so here. 

When registering, please select “Ride Your Own Way” so there is no minimum donation requirement. You will get a tax slip for eligible donation amounts.

Last year we raised over $1200, let’s beat it this year! 

Accommodations
Tents are available for everyone who express the need in the EOI form. The McMaster dorm accommodations were assigned via lottery this year. Other options are available here.

Other

We are still waiting on final confirmation of the Day 1 route, but it is expected to start at Sherway Gardens, similar to last year.
