2025/26 AFA Requalification – Action Checklist
Complete these steps now to secure your course attendance.
1. Confirm Access to the New “LMS” E-Learning Site
- Sign into the new Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) for e-learning using any of the following methods:
- ➡️Direct Link
- From ZIMS: Use the e-learning link in your Personal Menu
- From CSP Website: Members page > Learning Centre
- Use your Yeti credentials to log in: email address + password
- Tips:
- If password fails → use Forgot Password in Yeti
- Delete any old e-learning/e-exam bookmarks
- If you have access issues, contact E-Learning Team elearning@skipatrolcentral.com
⚠️Please note: You may encounter access issues if you changed your email during registration this year, if so, reach out to e-learning immediately.
2. Complete Updated e-Learning Requirements
- Start today – don’t risk missing prerequisites
- Expect ~5.5 hrs/year over a 3-year cycle to cover full AFA curriculum
- Courses are full or near capacity – rescheduling is unlikely. Start early to ensure you have enough time to complete the full training before your scheduled course date.
3. Prepare for the New Patient Assessment Evaluation
- Read: June 5/5 Newsletter Update for more info on the new outcome-based Patient Assessment questions
4. Use Student Resources to Prepare (Access via the LMS or ZIMS)
- AFA Manual – latest edition
- Patient Assessment materials – including new evaluation questions
- On-snow training resources
- Exam prep – 2025 study guide, 2024 exams & answers, diagnostic evaluation guides
- Videos – PPE, treatments, transport methods
Tip: Many exam questions repeat – use past exams as practice
5. Watch for Coordinator Instructions
- You’ll receive course-specific details (location, time, deadlines) soon
- Ensure you complete all pre-requisites:
- All e-learning modules
- AFA Exam – 2025
- CPR/BLS Exam – 2025
- Submit before the deadline to avoid follow-up reminders
