I am excited to announce the appointment of Frank Fugaccia and Ben Finestone as Co-Vice Presidents of Operations for the Canadian Ski Patrol Central Zone Ontario, effective immediately. Their combined expertise and commitment to safety and operational excellence will significantly benefit our organization.

Frank Fugaccia brings 15 years of comprehensive operational experience as a ski patroller and event medic. He began his career at Mount St. Louis Moonstone, quickly demonstrating exceptional skills in managing emergencies, providing medical care, and ensuring guests’ well-being on the slopes. Frank expanded his expertise into event medical services, playing a crucial role in coordinating medical responses for various outdoor events, including ski races, festivals, concerts, and sporting events. Throughout his career, Frank has honed his leadership abilities, overseeing teams of patrollers and medical personnel with confidence and professionalism. His strategic mindset and hands-on experience have been instrumental in developing efficient operational protocols and implementing best practices to enhance safety and customer satisfaction. Frank’s diverse background and passion for ensuring the well-being of others in dynamic and challenging environments make him a valuable addition to the management team.

Ben Finestone has been a dedicated member of the CSP for 20 years. He began his patrolling career at Talisman Mountain Resort and, following its closure, joined the Caledon Ski Patrol. Ben has served in various roles at both the patrol and zone levels, including Assistant Patrol Leader, Advanced First Aid Instructor, Instructor Trainer, District Supervisor Central West, Director of Four Seasons Events, AFA New Candidate Course Coordinator, and as an instructor/reviewer member of the National Exam Review Committee. Professionally, Ben is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with 24 years of experience at Scotiabank.

Together, Frank and Ben bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to their new roles. We are confident that their leadership will further enhance the operational excellence of the Central Zone Ski Patrol.
