ABOUT US

Central Zone is the largest Zone in the Canadian Ski Patrol. In operation since 1956, we provide service at more than 14 resorts, both public and private, in Central Ontario in the Toronto, Barrie, Collingwood and surrounding areas. Our 4 Season Events patrol provides service across Ontario at events such as speed skating, bicycle fund raising events (such as the Ride to Conquer Cancer) and marathon style events. Wherever Canadians play, you’re likely to see our patrollers in their distinctive red uniforms with white crosses.

Not only do we provide service for downhill skiing and snowboarding, our patrollers provide assistance at Nordic events throughout the winter season.

As the largest Zone, we start preparing for each snow sliding season in the late summer and early fall to be ready for the first lift opening.
