While all of our key roles are currently staffed, we\u2019re always looking for smart, ambitious patrollers to join the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have an interest in training – each of our department team leads could use some help, and we\u2019re always looking for fresh ideas to help us improve and evolve! Please contact Wyn Smith at vptraining@skipatrolcentral.com<\/a> to learn more. Note, it\u2019s preferred but not essential that you are already an ICP certified instructor.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Patroller AFA Training:<\/strong> Help us build the next generation of great patrollers! What’s involved ? Organizing, supporting and overseeing the new candidate AFA training courses we run to train new recruits in the fall and spring, including Field Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning Patroller AFA Requalification: <\/strong>Keep our organization going strong! What’s involved? Organizing, supporting and overseeing the activities involved in the annual requalification of returning patrollers – AFA Skills, e-learning and online exams, BLS requalification and our patient assessment and diagnostic evaluations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On-Snow Training: <\/strong>Here’s where the “rubber hit’s the road”. What’s involved? Organizing, supporting and overseeing the on-snow training activities that take place at each resort\/ski club for both our new and returning patrollers. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructor Certification Program (ICP):<\/strong> Instructing our instructors! What’s involved? Organizing, supporting and overseeing the certification of new instructors and ongoing activities that help sustain a team of dedicated, knowledgeable instructors and instructor trainers. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E-learning Support:<\/strong> Plug in, and log on! What’s involved? Supporting Central Zone patrollers who access and complete e-learning as part of their new candidate training or annual AFA requalification.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
