2023 Ski Swaps<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Are you ready to get \u201cswapping\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well get ready, because some big swaps are on the horizon…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toronto Snow Show & Ski Swap along with Barrie Ski Swap will both be in full swing in just a few weeks. Hosted over three weekends<\/strong> this Fall you will find the Toronto Swap October 27 – 29 and Barrie swaps taking place November 3-5 and 10-12 with equipment check-ins & additional support shifts for both over October 25, 26, 30, 31 and November 1, 2, 9, and 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we are calling on all patrollers to chip in.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As many of you know, our annual Fall fundraising swaps are a MAJOR source of revenue for the Zone. They account for 35% of our budget each year and allows us to support better training, events, recruitment activities in addition to subsidizing annual membership fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why we are asking all Central Zone patrollers to sign up<\/strong> and turn out to support these important Zone fundraising events!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discounts<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in a Toronto Swap shift will earn you a discount towards your 2024 membership fee and for Barrie Swaps, local patrols offer a host of great incentives!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note, if you signed up for a swap during registration but do not show…you will NOT get the discount!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We encourage you to sign up & show up for a swap shift so that you can benefit from the best deal on your membership renewal next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Sign Up<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign up for a shift on ZIMS.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under your \u201cPersonal Menu\u201d you will find \u201cSwap Shifts\u201d which will list all available timeslots and available discounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the more difficult shifts to fill are the midweek Monday – Friday schedule. If you are in a position to help on one of these dates please consider doing so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, there is no such thing as too much help! If you are able to contribute more than one shift please feel free to sign up for more than one timeslot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
